See Army’s celebration after becoming bowl eligible again

The Army Black Knights are going to play in a bowl game in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1984-85 after their 31-28 overtime win over Temple on Saturday.

They were super pumped up on the field.

Head coach Jeff Monken threw a chair.

The entire team was of course just as pumped when they went back to the locker room.

Then, they celebrated some more after accepting an invitation to the Armed Forces Bowl. Last year, they beat North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

The last time they played in the Armed Forces Bowl was in 2010, and they won that game vs. Southern Methodist.

It’s all happening for Army – what a day.

Next week, the Black Knights face Air Force at Falcon Stadium on Saturday.
